How do I get auto backup feature for the netbeans?

Didn't find any plugins at the netbeans site for this purpose.
Any good recommendation for me?

Are you referring to version control? If so there are many software to do this: Subversion (SVN), Git, CVS to name a few.

I'm sure Netbeans have plugins for these version control.

I have downloaded Git now.
I have been encountering data loss throughout lots of my projects.
So I have to make things unloosable.
