Hello Krystian,

Thank you for the question.

The content in J8PG is not hard to understand, once you are in the Java space the book will be helpful.

The book is broken into three main divisions: Part I Language, Part II Platform and Appendices. The Language section aims to aid in the use of Java in general. ThePplatform section aims to be a springboard for using and understand some of the Java SE APIs, and the appendices explores supporting technologies, e.g., Fluent APIs, thirds party tools and UML basics.

On the flip side, if you pick the book up (as your only resource) with no programming or Java knowledge at all, it will not be helpful as a standalone reference.

Thanks again for the question.
