Hi Ranchers!

Ok, I am planning to take the OCAJP7 exam next week but I need your inputs guys.

Here's what I've done the last 2 months:
* Studied mala gupta's study guide.
* Studied SCJP6 by K&B
* Did coding practice
* And, took the Enthuware mock exams for OCAJP7

Here's the result of my mock exams:

Mala Gupta's Mock Exam: 80%
Enthuware Mock Exams:
Test 1: 89%
Test 2: 88%
Test 3: 90%
Test 4: 86%
Test 5: 76%
Last Day Test: 79%

Do I need to try whizlab's mock exam (it's actually a bit expensive compared to enthuware)?
Do you think I am ready?
Should I schedule my exam now?
Your comments are very much welcome.

If these are your scores on first attempt, then they are really good. You are good to go

Based on the material you have studied, the questions you have asked here and the scores from the mock exams you took I would say you are definitely ready to take the exam. I would be really if you didn't ace this certification.

I would not opt for the whizlab mock exams, because these exams are not of the same quality as the enthuware mock exams. That's not my opinion (because I didn't take any of them), but based on experiences shared by other ranchers.

So schedule the exam and just do it!

Thanks for your comment roel!

I am quite hesitant to take it, because there are times that I have overlooked some mock exam questions
(most of which are easy).

I hope I can really pass it (if possible even ace it ).

Good Luck, Ed!

When you write the exam, read *each* question carefully. Watch out for the questions that seem simple, they might not be-as you should have noticed from your own experience of attempting multiple mock exams.

If you think you are taking longer than required to answer a question - mark it (select the checkbox at the top left) and move to the next question. You have an option of reviewing only the marked questions. In the exam, you can't jump to a particular question number. So if you want to review question number 9, after completing your exam, you'll have to use the 'previous' button as many times (previous/ next questions are displayed with a delay of 1-3 seconds-which is quite irritating).

As Roel mentioned, I'm confident that you'll pass this exam with an excellent score!

With respect,
Mala

Hi Mala!

Thanks for your comment and great BOOK!

You have an option of reviewing only the marked questions.

The enthuware test studio is not like this, in which I can review all questions even those unmarked.
Glad you mentioned this.

I'm already very eager to take the exam now.

You seemed to have misinterpreted Mala's response. I think, she means to say that you can "also" review just the marked questions. Besides this, you *can* review all the questions as you please. Our simulator simulates both of these features quite closely.

HTH,
Paul.

Oops, my bad

Overlooked that one. Thanks for clarifying.
Good to know that.
