Hi!

I looked the content of the previous book at amazon (I couldn't find the latest one there in my country) (to understand more about what things I can find on it) and I was very surprise (and happy) to see JVM things (such as GC, Heap, etc). But I also noticed that there wasn't any chapter about Network. I would like to ask you which subjects did you guys had to remove due the size constraint (or maybe it would be too much information for the readers of that book, IDK).

Thank you very much. I wish your book will be a best seller =D

Kindest regards!
Luan

Hi Luan,

Thank you so much for the question.

Between the J7PG and the J8PG, we removed part of the Basic I/O chapter (12) and we also removed the AWT and Swing individual package references in chapter 9, replacing the later with the JavaFX package references... just to save a few pages. The book may get bigger for J9PG.

... but I think that was it on the removals.

Thanks again,
-- Robert
