1. Shadow effects for the DIVs doesn't really go well with the theme.
2. Advertisement that appears at the bottom of the page is placed within the content div. It would be better if it is moved outside.

Can you attach screenshot to illustrate what area you are talking about and how the shadow effects aren't gelling well?

When you say the "content div", do you term it that because of the colour of the div which is similar to the area which shows post contents?

See 1.png. A thin border with no shadow effect will look better.

Advertisement that appears at the bottom of the page is placed within the content div.

When the initial idea for these pages was being mocked up, the people involved stressed that we keep that shadowy effect. Personally, I like it too and we have had some feedback from other users who like it too. I don't think we are going to move away from that but we do appreciate your feedback.
