I have created an android application with more than 20 activities.I used the google nexus (800x1200) as the AVD.But when i upload the app on my samsung galaxy s(480x800) phone the app is only paritally seen.People ask me to refer to the developer documentation which says to create folders as layout-small,layout,layout-large,layout-x large and then create xml files accordingly for each of these folders. But i have already finished doing the app.Now should i spent more time just changing the layout or is there any easier way for the app to run on all devices? Please help!

An easier approach, IMO, would have been to develop the app for the smallest screen size that you want to support, and then to add different layouts for larger screens where those can make better use of the bigger screen sizes. I don't think there's a way around testing apps on different screen sizes (and portrait vs. landscape), and then making the desired changes.
