I'm trying to create a software i2c implementation for the TMS570LS04 microcontroller.
This µC doesn't have hardware i2c peripherals.
I haven't succeeded yet. Curious if someone else succeeded.

The context for this exercise is that I have a element14 'Fuel Tank' boosterpack with a Texas Instruments bq27510-g2 battery monitoring chip.
You can interrogate that chip using the i2c protocol, but as indicated above: no success yet.

I'm creating a video series on the exercise:

So if you managed to get a working implementation on the TMS570LS0x series, I'm interested in the results.
