Hi All,
Could someone please clarify the course of actions for the below scenario.
There are two caller id applications on an android device and when a call comes in both of them displays some information on the same area of call screen.
Which application would get priority? Whose information would hide the other?
Assume both the applications have given the same priority for the intent on the manifest file.

Thanks,
Jean

I believe this is the situation that produces a request to the user asking them which application they want to use for that type of action, with a list of apps that can handle the intent and a choice to use that application just once or always.

Yep, as discussed under "Intent types"on https://developer.android.com/guide/components/intents-filters.html. Note that it works this way only for activities. There can be multiple broadcast receivers for a given intent, and they will all be called (without the user being prompted).
