I've just started learning java today, and i'm watching thenewboston's videos, on his beginners video for making a calculator, I copied everything he printed, (exception for my Variable being my Name, and not his.) But when ever I run it (in eclipse), it gives me and error. Heres a screen shot of it! I hope you pro's out there can help me! Thank you!

Looks like apple.java is missing package declaration even though it is inside a package called garloch.

And welcome to the Ranch

I recommend you use a decent text editor rather than Eclipse if you are just starting out.

The reason why Elliot is using Eclipse is because downloading and installing Eclipse is like lessons #1 and #2 from Bucky, thenewboston guy. Bucky winds up teaching his whole Java course, ie, all 80 videos, with Eclipse. " apples.java "? Yeah, that's definitely Bucky.
