multi-day site outage?

For a few days, I was getting an error message any time I tried to access this site. Usually, this site is very good about being up all the time.

What happened?

Sorry, I can't remember, it was a strange server error. Not a simple 404 or the like.
Just tried to see if my browser history captured it, but since the site returned an error on the URL, the browser didn't record the history.

We were down for 10 minutes this morning for a deployment. That's the only known outage.

In addition to providing the error message, can you send the IP address you were on when the problem occurred (if you know it and it is different from the one you are using now)?

Should be the same as what I'm using now, in the 71.162.208.227/30 range

It was a couple of days that I couldn't get in.

Puzzling. If it happens again, please note the date/time/ip/error message and let us know.

Also, note that we'd post on twitter.com/coderanch if there was a long unplanned outage. Not that I'm expecting one of course!

I checked the list of known outages, and the only ones I'm seeing in the last 30 days are:

The 3 for 2014-05-24 were all for the outage Jeanne mentioned earlier.
