So, first I found the text of The Door of Dreams.

Then I looked for Jessie Belle Rittenhouse. I read that she was the first poet to receive the Robert Frost award but many of you must already know that. I didn't.

I haven't read many poems but I just loved Jessie's 'The Door of Dreams'. Such short poems. With so much meaning and depth... and so many emotions...
It was lovely.

So I thought of starting a new thread on poems, poets, and poetry.

So do you have a favorite poem, or a favorite poet?

As for me, I've become an admirer of Jessie Belle Rittenhouse. May her soul rest in peace.
