Does anyone have any pointers on the Jakarta ECS project to support generation of XML from Java?

I looked into their site - http://jakarta.apache.org/ecs/index.html - but didnt really get anything useful.

I am looking to generate XMLs from JSP (taglibs?) or POJO class.

ECS is really geared towards generating HTML. I would advice to use a library like DOM, XOM, JDOM, etc. to generate an in-memory representation, and then use its built-in serialization mechanism to create a stream you can send to a client.

Thanks Ulf for the reply! We are planning to use JDOM.
By any chance, have you come across any sample code that outputs XML using JDOM?
