White spaces in post  RSS feed

I have the impression that you yank all white spaces in post. I wanted to display the attached image using numbers but it could not display correctly.

Collapsing whitespace is a normal aspect of HTML.

Alternatively you could use a combination of a monospaced typeface with some " " For example the following BBCode

[tt]
    1
    2
6 7 3 8 9
    4
    5
[/tt]

gives you:


    1
    2
6 7 3 8 9
    4
    5


It's a bit clunky and horrible to write in the editor. But it does work.

Ok all. Thanks. However, if i edit the post where the cross is messed up, it displays well inside the editor.

The editor is irrelevant. As I already said, HTML collapses whitespace upon display.
