This seems to be show stopper issue. Please help me in resolving the issue.

There is a enough information in the stack trace that tells you what is wrong in your spring configuration. You had your answer more than 3 days ago. You just need to look at the stack trace carefully

Look at this part

org.springframework.beans.NotWritablePropertyException: Invalid property 'user' of bean class [com.quality.service.userServiceImpl]: Bean property 'user' is not writable or has an invalid setter method. Does the parameter type of the setter match the return type of the getter?

Now, let's look at userServiceImpl shall we?

The exception is complaining that it couldn't find a setter method, and voila you don't have a setter method.. So, the fix is obviously... Add a setter method


Besides, this problem, your code is all messed up. If you don't mind i would like to I point out potential problems

1) in the same class you have autowired annotation as well as XML based property injection. Why? It will confuse you if you do both on the same class
2) why aren't you following java standards for class naming?
3) userServiceImpl has a transactional annotation but it doesn't implement interface. Although it will still work, it's. Or a good practice. Your service layer should expose an interface, and the controller should be coded to the interface

Now I have no idea what you are trying to do. Why are you trying to inject UserDAO using user property?
