I think you need to provide a lot more detail on what you're doing, and what exactly is happening as a result, for example what "the code will still all black" means. Copy/paste in general should work fine between any two program that have editing capabilities (which NetBeans and Word do).

My guess: Jaime is looking for a way to have MS Word format the text in the same way that Netbeans does, with different colours for keywords and so on.

Based on that guess I tracked down this Netbeans plugin: RTF copy/paste for Netbeans 7.4 - plugin detail. I should mention that I'm not a Netbeans user so I haven't tried this, but it looks promising.

hi Jaime,

I just tried it, copying from NetBeans into Word, and indeed, all format is lost.
I could not find any suitable plug in, either.

However, what did work was: open Eclipse, copy the text from NetBeans into for
instance a WorkSheet from Eclipse. and copy and paste the text from Eclipse
into Word. That will do the trick.

Greetz,
Piet

@Paul,
thanks for the tip!

@Jaime
Just downloaded and installed the plug-in, and it works as promised.
Select a text, right click, choose 'copy as RTF', and paste it in Word.

Piet
