In order to optimize my app to be well displayed in almost all devices, i created different layout folders for the cases it didn't work well.
So, on my res/ i have the BASIC layout, the "layout-small-ldpi" , the "layout-small-hdpi", the "layout-normal-ldpi", and "layout-normal-mdpi".

The point is that on emulator's device, it loads "layout-small-hdpi" instead of "layout-normal-mdpi" and
in a device(normal screen hdpi) instead of loading the basic layout it loads "layout-normal-mdpi".

What's going on??

You're probably using an AVD that emulates an HDPI screen. You can set that during AVD creation (or change it afterwards).

No,on the first case it uses a normal screen(4'') mdpi and it loads small-hdpi and
on the second case it uses a normal screen hdpi and it loads normal-mdpi.
