TomEE documentation indicate that TomEE is compatible with EJB2.1. So my question is what would it take a deploy an existing EJB2.1 application to TomEE?
Assuming everything else is compatible. What changes need to be made in terms of ejb-jar.xml, bean, local and home interfaces, JNDI? This application currently is deployed on OC4J.

Welcome to JavaRanch.

Maybe start with two "EJB Legacy" examples in https://openejb.apache.org/examples-trunk/index.html

With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
