Detecting accentuation

Hi.

In my app the when the user creates a project a folder with the projects name is created. If the name has any accentuation (ç,á,é,etc...) the app stops working alright. I had this problem with spaces and i choose to use replaceAll but now i don't know how can i resolve this.

What does "stops working" mean, exactly? If it crashes there should be a stack trace in the logcat. It it means something else, please elaborate. And I still think creating directories based on user input is not a good idea.

Thanks for replying. Yes you're right i will change the way it creates the folders.
By crashing i meant when i took photos they were stored in another folder that the app created automatically with "%" and then i couldn't see the photos.
