Hello all,
i wanted to know is there any reporting tool exists in java
as crystal reports in .net which are standard tool
for generating reports based on queries please help

The standard library for creating reports with Java is JasperReports. There's also a GUI designer for it called iReport. Both are linked in the OtherOpenSourceProjectsFaq.
