This week, we are running a promotion for "Murach's Java Servlets and JSP ". You can ask the author questions about his book if you are curious if it is a good one for you.

Our book covers NetBeans, not Eclipse, so it's probably not optimal for someone who wants to use Eclipse. However, if you're willing to use NetBeans while reading this book, I think it's a great way to get started with servlet/JSP programming. NetBeans is easy to install and use. I have both Eclipse and NetBeans installed on my computer, and I find it easy to switch back and forth between the two.
