Well, what need I say?

A few years ago as part of my academic studies at the time, I had to write / maintain several web applications. So I went to the local bookshop in London in the United Kingdom, and there was a copy of Murach's Java Servlets and JSP second edition.

In the last few years, this book has proved invaluable to me and I have recommended it to numerous fellow students as well.

I have also several certain web applications courses based upon the book myself at various colleges in London.

So thanks, and good luck with the new edition. Even if I don't win, I will probably buy a copy of the new edition at some point anyway.

As for the use of NetBeans in the editions of the book, why not? It is not difficult to port a web application between NetBeans and Eclipse. My preference is NetBeans anyway.

I'm glad to hear that the 2nd edition was invaluable to you. That's why I do what I do!

I think we've made a lot of nice improvements to the 3rd edition, but we tried not to lose any of the good stuff that was in the 2nd edition.
