Oooh... JPA. I have been meaning to get to grips with that. I am using JPA with Play! Framework so that could be interesting.

You've been spoiled!

One of the reasons I use the Play framework (version 1) for a number of my projects, despite all its too-obvious warts and bumps, is that it has the easiest and smoothest JPA integrations I've come across. (That, and I really like its URL routing.)

May I ask you how you leant play!. I have been using the book 'play for java' and it seems to be good so far and I am working on a couple of projects. My method is a bit ad hoc though like many but it would be great to hear if you happen to have any good advice.

I just used the online documentation (spotty as it is) and a lot of trial and error. There were no books on Play when I started using it.
