I have a JBoss 4.2.3 with multiple applications installed (3 ears). I wish to use the JMX console to stop and start the individual applications.

I use the MBean jboss.web.deployment:myWarName.war to invoke the operations.

stop()
The stop operation completes with message 'Operation completed successfully without a return value'. There is a message on the console suggesting that the war is undeployed.

start()
The stop operation completes with message 'Operation completed successfully without a return value'. BUT, the stateString shows 'Failed'.
The console shows the error:

Could some body help to understand what is going on here?
