Hi guys, i do really appreciate if anyone of you guys can give me some advices on this.
Currently i am working as a application engineer using
Java programming,
Struts framework and
EJB 3.0 (1 year of experience).
But recently, i attended few interviews looking for new opportunity to learn on other Java framework/mapping resources like Spring or Hibernate.
So this new company offer me a Java developer position using Spring, Hibernate and JSON (Which i never touched any of this before) on Banking financial IT solution (They are quite reputable in banking industry).
Apparently, my current project is going to end, and my Resourcing team decided to give me an opportunity to work on the Big Data / NOSQL. Once i agreed with this, i will be put into the role of R&D on Big Data /NOSQL.
As far as i know big data is getting more hit on recent years, do you guys think i should stay at my current Co. as a Big Data/NOSQL R&D consultant or jumpship to the new Co. to enhance my J2EE skill?
Which 1 will be a better choice for career prospect?
Thank you.
Regards,
Aaron.
