How can one thoroughly execute the functions coding of JavaScript? It is complicated to get used to, considering I am very new to this sort-of thing. I really need help with the more fine-tuning of the "functions."

What do you mean by "thoroughly execute" functions? A JavaScript function, once invoked, will execute until it reaches the end, executes a return statement, or triggers an exception.
