This is a study guide, not a reference. It is much more thorough. It also has a lot more questions than the Case/Sheil book including a full mock exam.

Hi, I want to ask is the book technology agnostic? or does it cover or refer to some Oracle technology product(s) in the case studies or examples?

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
