Hi Paul,

I was wondering if I could get some clarification on the correct Amazon Affiliate code in order to make sure the forums receives the credit it's due.

I noticed in this thread, Bear used: http://www.amazon.com/Head-First-Java-2nd-Edition/dp/0596009208/jranch-20
I asked Ulf the other day in this thread, and he told me the affiliate to use is: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1935182994/jr_bunk-20

Should I be using jranch-20 or jr_bunk-20 or are both valid?

Oh, and incase anyone else sees this thread, the current Amazon format uses http://www.amazon.com/dp/0743273567/?tag=assoc-id-20 with the 0743273567 being replaced by the ASIN or the book's 10-digit ISBN and the assoc-id-20 being replaced with the affiliate code.

Cheers!
Chris

Both are valid. We tend to use jranch-20 for Book Promotions and jr_bunk-20 for the bunkhouse. But we aren't consistent and CodeRanch/Paul gets the credit regardless.
