Hi,

Please suggest me the best approach to copy / load data from one database(PROD) to another database (TEST).

Each table is having bulk data (millions of records).

Thanks,

Export the data from PROD to a file using the export features of your database. Import the data from that file to TEST using the database's import features. Normally JDBC shouldn't be involved at all, unless you're using a database which doesn't have import and export capabilities.

If one or both of the DBs are lacking in built-in tools, the phrase you're looking for is "ETL tool" for Extract, Transform, Load. Lots of 3rd party tools are available which should cover any combination of DBs.
