Hi,

I am new to weblogic server.Now i have to work with weblogic 10.3.6 server.So i am trying to deploy spring's sample jpetstore(war file) application in a user domain of weblogic.but it is not deploying successfully as it is giving the following error.


Error: org/apache/commons/logging/LogFactory.

Does your project have commons-logging-XYZ.jar embedded ?

Hi Morris,

Yes my project contains commons-logging-1.1.1.jar file. The same application without any modifications is running in Tomcat6 well.

but weblogic10 giving the error.

Try adding weblogic.xml with the following tags inside of it:

<container-descriptor>
<prefer-web-inf-classes>true</prefer-web-inf-classes>
</container-descriptor>

This way you are forcing to load jar files under WEB-INF/lib
