Need Help on LDAP ( It adds two values when Department contains Backslash character)
posted 3 years ago
I was working on issue that is handling the special characters in LDAP. ( '+','\' etc). I have analyzed and added the backslash for handling the special characters.
the issue is: When I adding the Department name with Backslash like OU='Udhaya\kumar' o="Sample".
insertion getting success but in the back ground, it is stored as two entries.
DN: OU=Udhaya\kumar o="Sample".
Tried with two backslash with the department, it gives the result as below.
I have no point go further. I am using Netscape LDAP server 4.2
Thanks in Advance.
