Congratulations on your certification! Could you let me know which mock demo simulator is available for free?

Though you did not mention about the study kit, did you buy one? Is it needed for the exam?

Congrats.

Thomas Erl's book "SOA Principles of Service Design" is the recommended book aka study guide.

Only materials in chapters 3 & 4 and appendix B for S90.01 exam? Hmm interesting.

I just ordered this book today. I might give this examination very soon, but there seems to be very little information and exam experiences that I could find. I'm actually looking for some mock exams that would give me an idea as to what sort of questions I could potentially face in the real exam.

I'm too thinking of pursuing SOA exams in the near future.

What I've heard here on the Ranch and from googling, the questions can be either true/false or straight forward single answer multiple choice.

I once even emailed the exam provider (Acitura) for more details. For S90.01: 60mins, 50Q, 80% pass, US$150

Are you aware of any mock exams like Enthuware or Whizlabs?

The soaschool website says, we need to pass one additional exam. Can someone clear this, which additional exam and where can we see the details of the additional exam?

The SOA Certified Professional title requires 2 exams so passing any SOA exam fulfills this requirement.

Have a look at the matrix here to decide which exam suits your needs.

Hi Arun,

Which free sample papers did you try? Any specific website?

Hi All,

The SOAschools recommends to read this book as part of the self study module -- 'Next Generation SOA: A concise Introduction to Service Technology and Service-Orientation'

However no one mentioned the chapters in this book, but directly 'SOA Principles of Service Design' book. This is only recommended for S90.03 onwards. Has this changed recently? Has anyone used the above mentioned book for preparing for the test?
