Suppose I want to see how binarySearch method in Arrays class is implemented by java developers.

A lot of time I want to see implementation of a particular method in java.

Say I want to see the code of replace() method of String class.

How Can I do that ?

You can check out the source of the java classes from the "src.zip" file that comes with the JDK (windows version).

You can also look at OpenJDK's implementation online via grepcode. I like using gregcode when I only want to see one class/method.
