Both are spec compliant Java full stack EE servers. I would prefer JBoss as I heard that Glassfish will be decommissioned soon.

I think the answer to this question really depends on needs and cost. I understand the JBoss is the cheapest for corporations but up until Wildfly, JBoss had a pretty good learning curve. The rule, the more flexible, the more difficult to learn. I personally think Glassfish was the easiest to learn. And I did do some work with Weblogic and when it came to learning curve it seemed to be more in the middle between Glassfish and JBoss. I did quite a bit of testing using Swing, Flex, Servletts, or even RMI and it was really easy with Glassfish. I struggled getting JBoss working but it was much easier with Wildfly and though it was not as easy with Glassfish, I was able to get things working fairly easy for Weblogic.
