hey i am a bit confused when i looked at java API.i have been not able to understood where to start(i mean in one perticular package from which class i have to start).
Lets suppose , java.util.concurrency package has set of classess, interface and enums in it. How can i complet this package fully.
Just explain me by taking the above concurrency package by taking start and end point of this package.

Is there any practicle books or any documentation that oracle releases?

The API javadocs are a reference, not a tutorial. They are not a suitable place to try and learn a concept.

I'm not entirely sure I understand the question, but if you're just asking if Oracle provide any documentation or tutorials for the Java language and libraries then the answer is yes: Oracle Java Tutorials

... to add to that: I'm not aware of a good, free tutorial that covers all you need to know. Get a good book for starters, and see how far you get with that.

Despite their shortcomings, the Java Tutorials are the most comprehensive source I have ever seen.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
