Hello!

i have decided to use cewolf and JFreeChart.

I want to make graphs, but i cannot find nothing about passing parameters to produceDataset in order to dinamically create mysql querys. (i have looked through the api, this forum and half internet )

i am very stuck with this.. i have a jsp, and i call cewolf constructor:

.java:

Map params is supposed to be filled in previous .jsp... how??

Thanks a lot

For starters, I wouldn't do that in the JSP. Code like that should live in a servlet class or backing bean.

The tutorial on http://cewolf.sourceforge.net/ shows how to assemble the various components that make a cewolf chart. It doesn't cover DB access, though, since that's outside of the realm of JFreeChart/cewolf.

If you're serious about cewolf, I'd suggest to start out with the version I released; it fixes a number of problems and adds a few new features to cewolf.

Hi!

i have been working with Cewolf and i have the next problem:

.jsp:

.java

(This is a simplified example to show my case)

It draws those 15 charts with the id's (ids randoms): 1,2,2,2,2,2,2,2,9,9,9,9,14,14,14

The affair is .. in this case, only enters 4 times on the produceDataset, why? should be 15 !

PD: Ulf Dittmer, i am not going much further with Cewolf and i need basic usage only, improvements in your Cewolf does not help me much on this problem. Thanks

Solved,

i had not every "de.laures" packages imported properly..

removeAfterRender="true" and usecache="false" were also important.

thanks
