Hi,

I know there are lot of experts here .. thanks to all of them who are resolving my issues with quick response.

I am new to programing and i would like to learn java in very much detailed. I have came across few books and blogs but i would like to know from experts here about good book or online websites that i can refer to learn java.

My requirement would be learn java and use that knowledge into any automation scirpting language (may be python or selenium) to automate applications/products.

Seems a bit strange to say that you want to learn Java so you can write Python. Why not just learn Python?

That said, the Head First Java book is very popular with newcomers to Java.
