Congratulation Sai

Bye the way want to ask, for this certification, is oracle training optional now?

I was going through this link, or I am misinterpreting it?

Adesh,

the Oracle training is mandatory, however to appear for the exams you don't need it, eventually you need it for the certification itself.

Hi All,

I just wanted to elaborate on my experience preparing for the OCMJEE 6 (IZ0-807)

Initially i started preparing for OCMJEE 5 back in Jan 2014, read books by Mark Cade, Humphrey Sheil and another book from Paul Allen & Joesph Bambara (older version), Ameritendu de Mock questions

after a few months came to know that there is a new book coming up from Paul Allen & Joesph Bambara, so waited for this new book till July 27,

bought the new book and it has all the topics that are covered in the exam & i highly recommend this book, I recommend to review the end of the chapter questions which are very much similar to the real exam.

Besides this book i also practiced Whizlabs mock exams, which are close to difficulty level from the real exam (specifically the final exam)

besides these books i read
IT Architectures and Middleware: Strategies for Building Large, Integrated Systems, Second Edition
SOA in Practice
Enterprise Java™ Security: Building Secure J2EE™ Applications
Real World Java EE Patterns Rethinking best practices (highly recommended for JEE 6 patterns)

I'll try my best to answer if anyone has any questions about the exam.

Thanks again All the Ranchers. & Best of luck who are preparing for the Part 1 exam.
