i need a code that lets me hide and image. then i want a code that creates a box with text and when i clicked on, it reveals the hidden image

well thats kind of the problem... I'm not really good at html code sequences. so i dont really know where to even begin

Then it is unlikely that you will be ready to tackle this. You'll also need JavaScript to detect and handle events and manipulate the DOM, so this isn't something that a rank novice could expect to tackle.

Is this a work assignment? A school assignment? Just want to play around?

You really need to grab a good tutorial or book on web development and start digging in.
