Dear All ,
I have a class that do a soap request to a web service , the response is containing a base64 string repressing a file content , how can i send this string to a servlet (maybe any other way) to send it to the user as a downloaded file .

Thanks in advance

Welcome to the Ranch.

I'm unclear on the exact problem. Is the question how to decode a base64-encoded string, and stream that content to a servlet client - in other word, is this code part of a web app? In that case, it's irrelevant where the data came from (a WS or otherwise). But then, "send this string to a servlet" sounds as if the code doing this is not part of a web app, at least not the same web app that would stream the data to the client. So, please provide more detail about the flow of data and the flow of control.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
