My java project has got a jbehave story and steps class. when i run the test, an instance of the steps class is being created but the class is not actually run.

my steps class :

and my Runner class :

The output looks like this :

steps class constructor : object created
Processing system properties {}
Using controls EmbedderControls[batch=false,skip=false,generateViewAfterStories=true,ignoreFailureInStories=false,ignoreFailureInView=false,verboseFailures=false,verboseFiltering=false,storyTimeoutInSecs=300,failOnStoryTimeout=false,threads=1]
Generating reports view to 'D:\workspace\WS_test\jbehave\target\jbehave' using formats '[]' and view properties '{navigator=ftl/jbehave-navigator.ftl, views=ftl/jbehave-views.ftl, reports=ftl/jbehave-reports-with-totals.ftl, nonDecorated=ftl/jbehave-report-non-decorated.ftl, decorated=ftl/jbehave-report-decorated.ftl, maps=ftl/jbehave-maps.ftl}'
Reports view generated with 0 stories (of which 0 pending) containing 0 scenarios (of which 0 pending)

Could anyone please help me how to run this class successfully?
Thank you.

Classes don't "run". You can create an instance of a class. you can call the methods of a class. But it doesn't make sense to "run a class".
