I would like to try out the code samples for MVC and REST. I see there is an application called spitter that demonstrates MVC and REST. Is there some documenation somewhere in the book or online?

(1) How do I generate the war file?
(2) There are many options discussed in the book. For example, there are several types of security. I want to test out username-password security. What kind of security do I get by default? What other options do I ge by default? How do I get username-password security?
(3) How do I deploy the war file? Does it work with tomcat and Jetty both?
(4) Once I deploy, how do I login and demonstrate the various features. What are the steps?

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
