Well, there certainly wouldn't be a need for a new edition if there weren't updates!

In short, the book has been updated to include coverage of Spring 3.1, Spring 3.2, and Spring 4 features. The book was too far along to include Spring 4.1 which was only released a little over a month ago. Specifically, there are several updates. Just a few of them include: Spring Data, Java configuration for Spring Security, profiles and conditional configuration, new Spring MVC features, and Spring Boot. There's more, but those topics come to mind immediately.

With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
