Upgrade exam 1Z0-805

I already have a SJCP certification for Java 2, that I got in 2002.

I would like to upgrade my certification to apply to Java 7 for which 1Z0-805 is appropriate exam per the Oracle website. To this end, I have been reading the SJCP6 prep book (by Kathy Sierra and Bert Bates). The book is well-written and covers the topics well and I like the authors' teaching style too (help to think about the 'What's, 'Why's and Hows of the Java language instead of simply remembering the facts.)

Question : Can I use the OCA/OCP Java SE 7 Programmer I & II Study Guide to help me to pass the updrade exam?

This question has come up twice already

Yes, the book covers all the upgrade topics, AND there is a table (like a mini ToC), in the intro to help you locate the upgrade topics in the book.

The bad news is that upgrade candidates will end up skipping many chapters in the book. So if you buy the book for the upgrade exam, it will work, but it's also overkill.

Also I assume there is no separate mock exams available in book for Upgrade certificate. Right Bert ??

Thank you for your clarification. (Sorry, for re-asking the same question, while initially searching JavaRanch, I could not locate those questions... hence I ended up posting the question)

Besides I posted question under the 1Z0-805 'category' since I felt others could then add other questions/posts related to this topic.
