Hello Everyone,
I have done my graduation in Computer Science in July 2014. I was working on android application development from November 2013. I left my Android job in September 2014 and joined a company on 20 Oct 2014 which is working on ERP systems(using Oracle SQL). I don't have enough skills in Oracle SQL as compared to Android. So when i joined the company they asked me for training, nowadays i am learning basic queries and stuff like that. I am not satisfied with it, and i am really very concerned that whether i am going on a right path or a wrong one.
When I was in android development i learned a lot of new things in it but in my current job i don't feel like i am learning something, and i think it will take at least 1 year to be better in Oracle SQL.
In my old field i was also learning JAVA J2EE in my self learning time. Now everything is changed, i cannot concentrate on anything because i am worried about my future/career because i don't know whether i made a right decision or a wrong one.
So my basic concern is which will be more beneficial for me in long terms, Career in Software Development or ERP systems and my long term plan is to start software business.
As it is the start of my career so i want to choose the right path. I will be glad if you people guide me to make my future.
Consider Paul's rocket mass heater.
