I have the strange situation, that style=... (also styleClass) is ignored in the <body> tag. Same for <form>.
Still more strange: If I put example.xhtml into another eclipse project, it works!

I can't find out the difference between these projects.
I use Maven to build the war files, and pom.xml is identic in both projects, beside project name.
I checked these libs:
htmLib: in both projects version 0.3
myfaces-api: in both projects version 2.0.2
myfaces-impl: in both projects version 2.0.2
I checked tomahawk: in both projects tomahawk20-1.1.10

Does anybody know where to look and what to check?

xmlns:h="http://java.sun.com/jsf/html">
<h:body style="background-color: pink;">

</h:body>
</html>

browser - show source code in testproj1.war:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><body>

</body>
</html>

browser - show source code in testproj2.war:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><body style="background-color: pink;">
testtext
</body>
</html>

"joe onefivenine",

We don't have many rules here at the JavaRanch, but we do insist that you use your Real Name and not some sort of "handle" or obvious alias. If you're not sure about this, see
http://www.javaranch.com/name.jsp .
