Hi,
I was going through eclipse shortcuts link as below
http://www.shortcutworld.com/en/win/Eclipse.html

I read under heading
8. Editing Source Code
Ctrl+1 does below task

Ctrl+1 Open Quick Fix and Quick Assist

When i tried on eclipse on my laptop it seems not working. I wonder what mistake i am doing. I am pressing both Ctrl and 1 buttons together. Please advise. Thanks in advance

Maybe you are using a different eclipse version, thats why dosnt work the way you want, you can change that in the following path on your eclipse:
Windows->Preferences->General->Keys

Please let us know if you have a different binding.

thanks!

Currently in my office laptop i have

IBM Rational® Software Architect for WebSphere Software

Version: 8.0.4

I checked the General tab under preferences as attached. I see keys 'double click' mode is enabled. Do i need to change anything. Does these keys are same across all the IDEs like eclipse IBM RSA, netbeans etc. Please advise

Im using RAD with websphere. Developer version

I attach an image.

All the IDES have different shortcuts and also with the version changes, netbeans change the shortcuts between the version 6 and 8.
