I need to pass the content of a variable of Javascript to the applet parameter. I am using VALUE=&{variable}, but the Java program receives the string "&v(variable}", but not the content of the variable. I do not know how solve this problem.

Can somebody help me?

Bellow the code

<APPLET ARCHIVE="InJava.jar, NBioBSPJNI.jar"
CODE="InJava.class"
NAME="myApplet"
HEIGHT=100 WIDTH=800>
<PARAM NAME="parametro" VALUE="${parametro}">
</APPLET>

Welcome to the Ranch.

Not sure where you got the "${...}" and "&{...}" notations from - neither HTML nor JavaScript has such a mechanism. One approach would be to construct the APPLET tag on the fly in JavaScript code; that would let you use any JavaScript variable you want. This would involve a more elaborate version of the following:

Also, you most likely would not want to append at the end of the document, but somewhere in the middle.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
