Hi,
could you please tell.. what are technologies required for designing a website.Is java required to design website like ecommerce applications?
any frameworks from j2ee are required?How do people do website design like amazon.in , snapdeal.com etc....what could be the technologies they have used for that?
Is it easy to design and maintain a webiste?. Shockwave Flash Embed ,Adobe ColdFusion why these are all?

cant be created website with java,html5,css3?

Sure they can.

There are many choices for technology stacks. Java as mentioned above, Ruby with Rails, and others, including PHP which I'm sure you know about since you posted in the PHP forum.

Required? No. But many people find frameworks helpful.

Those are obsolete technologies.

It's actually quite difficult to do a web application well. I'm assuming you're not talking about a simple site showing pictures of kittens.
