What do I need to know for the exam required for certification?

is technical information needed except from knowledge of project implementation ?

and what should be the detail level of user interface documentation, choices.txt and javadocs ?

Thanks

Good starting point will be the ScjdFaq, followed by the ScjdWallOfFame.

The 1st one contains some answers on the most frequently asked questions. The 2nd one has links to stories/experiences about other ranchers passing this certification (and some - like mine - address your questions).

Hope it helps!
Kind regards,
Roel

Adding some thing to the discussion,
1) The questions are of general type. As you can sit in written exam, the next day after submitting project jar. I did that too. And it is recommended, so that things are fresh in your mind.
2) They want the candidate to know about advantages and disadvantages of their design choices and those of the alternative choices.
3) Use Monkhouse' s book to prepare for written exam too. It is highly recommended.
