I'm trying to get this IngredientServices.java code to work alongside this Ingredient.java object class code that I have recently created. This is what said code looks like so far:

In each method in IngredientServices.java, I am trying to modify this code to create Ingredient Objects instead of Strings.

When I go to compile this code in CMD on my VM, I getting an error telling me that it cannot find symbol on line 17 of the IngredientServices code... This is where I changed the code from
a String to an Ingredient object, so to take in values from my newly created Ingredient class.

What exactly am I doing wrong here? I really could use some helpful advice on getting this t ocompile properly... Thank you.

Perhaps you could post the compilation errors.

The error that happens on line 17 states that the program "cannot find symbol".

What symbol? Show, don't tell. Post the actual error text.
